The University of Chicago’s Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation announced the launch of ‘Resurgence’ Cleantech Accelerator on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Startups participating in this accelerator will gain access to business training, premier facilities, mentorship, funding opportunities, and more over the course of nine months and three modules of material.
The program focuses on four areas of the cleantech industry, namely:
- Energy storage and infrastructure
- Next-generation nuclear solutions
- Hydrogen and alternative fuels
- Materials refinement and process intensification
Eligible startups must be an established US legal entity, show a focus on one of those four areas, and have no more than $1 million raised in dilutive funding. Other qualifications and general information about the program can be found on the Polsky Center’s website.
Applications for the first cohort are due on Sunday, August 20.
